Overview

The PPS M870 Police Magnum, is an airsoft version of the Remington Police Magnum 870, A pump action shotgun with a 4+1 capacity; introduced in 2014 to replace the venerable Remington Wingmaster. Proofed to take 3" Magnum shells, it has been very popular in the Law enforcement community.

The PPS M870 Police Magnum has a metal receiver, Barrel assembly and magazine tube, The pump and stock are made from reinforced polymer, and it comes with a PPS branded rubber butt plate.
The Police Magnum uses a modified version of the Tanaka shotgun action, reinforced pump rails ensure higher reliability.
The shotgun uses PPS's own gas shot shell system. Each Police Magnum comes with 2 orange PPS shot shells that you fill with a 2 second fill of gas, followed by 3xBB's. With the Pump slid back up to 4 shells can then be thumbed into the magazine tube, and 1 shell can be placed in the action, giving you a full up capacity of 5 gas shot shells. Please note that the PPS system does not have hop up.
Once the pump is slid back into the forward position, the Police Magnum is ready to fire. Pull the trigger to fire 3xBB's and then rack the slide backwards to eject the spent shell, The shell will fly out of the side of the gun and the chamber will be clear, pushing the slide back forward will load the next shell into the chamber. Repeat until the Police Magnum is empty.
The front of the barrel has a bright gold bead sight for fast acquisition of targets, while the barrel is a shorter 12" version more suited to tactical applications like door breaching and CQB.
